Henry Labouchere, a businessman and gambler, developed the Labouchere System. While this strategy is more complicated than Martingale or Fibonacci, the concept is simple enough to grasp. The Labouchere isn’t the right choice if you want to be able to easily understand and implement progressive betting. It's a complex system that requires practice to understand. It's worth the effort, as it is considered one of best roulette systems. It is very popular among gamblers.

It can be used with even-chance bets, as well as Red/Black, Even/Odd, and 1-18/19–36. It is risky to use this strategy to place inside bets. The numbers won't add up so chances are you will lose a lot. This system's principal purpose is to profit from small wins and recover your losses. The system is a negative progression system.
