Washington State's Casinos - Map & List Of Casino Resorts

Washington State's gambling contract with the 28 Indian tribes who operate these 29 casinos permits blackjack, craps (with or without dice), roulette, poker sic bo, Big 6, Big 6 and Keno. Now, sports betting is allowed.

Although the state has similar table games to Las Vegas, the state's slot machines are different.

Instead of the Las Vegas-style slots with random number generators like in Las Vegas, Washington's slot machines are called "Tribal Lottery Machines." They have a predetermined pool of winners or losers that means you compete against other slot players at the casino to win a piece of the winnings.

Washington's total of 29 casinos was taken directly by the Washington State Gaming Commission. However, it does not include the many card rooms located throughout the state.

As you can see, most of Washington's casinos are located within the Seattle metropolitan area. Eastern Washington actually has eight casinos.

There are 20 casinos in Western Washington. Seven of them are in Seattle, while six Tacoma casinos can be found within an hour's drive from downtown.

Washington State casinos with hotels

There aren't a lot of mega-resorts that offer 5,000 rooms, like the MGM Grand Washington. However, there are some nice casinos resorts. Of the 29 state casinos, only 14 include hotels. This is changing soon (see below).
