First Poker School

 The First Poker School

There are many MTT training courses. Finding the right one for you is the hardest part. Both of these are very important, but I think the first is more important. You don't have the right to do what works for one person.

I'm not a fan of the GTO-oriented approach to poker, so I'll admit that I approached Gareth James' MTT School of Poker with some prejudice. GTO didn't work for me, but it was hard for me to keep up and stay focused on that type of content.

It's fair to say, now that I've tried the site's courses and training materials, my opinion has changed quite a bit.

James is a highly skilled poker player and coach. He has been offering training in some form or another for over ten years. There's never a doubt that his credentials are perfect. I'm not sure what to do inside.

The subscription option confused me when the course first launched in late 2020. While the goal was to give players more flexibility to access specific lessons or courses in a way that worked best for them, it turned out to be too much. Gareth deserves credit for solving this problem, and the subscription model is now much simpler.

This course, as I stated in the introduction, focuses on GTO. Therefore, all videos are centered on the optimal solution that can be found with a troubleshooter such as MonkerSolver or PioSOLVER. Mathematically correct solutions are presented to students for specific situations at different pile depths.

MTT Poker School Lesson Overview

MTT Game Changer only consisted of 10 modules when it was first offered to me in late 2020. However, there are more modules planned for the future. He has fulfilled his promise. Seven months later, there are 18 modules with another one in production.

While the former is a more introductory module, the rest are designed to cover a wide range of topics related to MTT players. This lesson has been explained in detail. Here is a brief overview of the actual topics you will find in it.
